About UsOur Board >> The Registered Public Accountants' Association-Atlantic is the Atlantic Provinces Chapter of the Nationally recognized RPA Association. Our aims and objectives are: - To promote the accounting profession and our members in Atlantic Canada
- To lobby government to accept RPAA-Atlantic standards as minimum for the practice of Public Accounting in Canada
- To educate industry, government and the general public to recognize that an RPA is professional in every respect
- To bring together accountants from government, industry, education and public practice to build bridges, within these diverse sectors
- To foster educational growth on an ongoing basis among its members
- To be dedicated to the improvement of our members and their qualifications
- To work with our members
- To challenge our members to new insights, awareness, skills and professionalism
The RPAA-Atlantic was formed in January 2003 as a Chapter of the National Association. Our objectives mirror the national objectives. Our Mission Our mission is to be recognized as an Association representing Public Accountants who are professional in every respect, and who provide accounting and management consulting services to the small and medium sized businesses of Atlantic Canada.
