Q. What kind of qualifications do I need to join RPAA-Atlantic?
A. There are educational requirements for membership in RPAA-Atlantic. For further details on the criteria and equivalencies for Educational Requirements, please contact us directly. Note: Applicants to the RPAA-Atlantic may be required to write a challenge examination to establish a degree of proficiency.

Q. I’m interested in joining, but would like to hear a little more. Who can I contact?
A. Absolutely. To learn more about RPAA-Atlantic, feel free to contact any member of our Board of Directors or just simply contact the Association directly.

Q. How do I join?
A. It’s easy. Simply download our application form and mail it to us at:

Note: at this time, you cannot apply online.

Q. I’m a student. Can I join?
A. Yes, you can join RPA as an Associate. The RPAA-Atlantic welcomes and encourages student accountants working towards their designation. The Association tracks educational courses and workshops are conducted to assist Associate members to achieve the level of education required to obtain full RPA status.

Q. Even though I’m not a member, can I still attend the posted events?
A. It depends on the event. While we always encourage non-members to check out our events, they sometimes are member-only. As a rule, we try to clearly state whenever an event is member-only. And if you’re not sure, just drop us a line and we’ll let you know.

Q. Even though I’m not a member, can I still submit news stories and links?
A. Absolutely. We welcome all submissions, with one small exception, we can only post member sites in our Links section.

Q. If I join, do I have access to the national resources?
A. Absolutely. We are the Atlantic chapter of a National Association, meaning you have access to a network across the country and all available resources.

Q. If I join, do I have to put my name and contact information on the site?
A. No. Putting contact information on the site is strictly the individual’s choice.
